These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Million Chess (https://millionchess.com) , operated by Unimule VOF ("we", "us"). By using the site, you agree to these Terms.

The service

Million Chess is a free online chess experiment where many anonymous players contribute single moves to shared games. The service is provided "as is" and may change, pause, or stop at any time without notice.

Eligibility

You must be old enough to use online services in your country. If you are under 18, you should use the site only with a parent or guardian's permission.

Anonymous accounts

We assign you a random public player ID stored in your browser. You are responsible for your device and browser. We cannot restore a lost ID if you clear browser storage or switch devices.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to disrupt games, servers, or other users (including bots, spam, or automated abuse)
  • Probe or attack the site's security
  • Use the site for unlawful purposes
  • Misrepresent affiliation with Unimule VOF

We may restrict or block access if we believe you are abusing the service.

Content and intellectual property

Game move data and site branding belong to Unimule VOF or its licensors. The site uses open-source chess libraries; see in-game attribution for chess.js and cm-chessboard licenses. You may not copy or scrape the site for commercial reuse without permission.

Advertising

The site may show third-party advertisements (such as Google AdSense). Ads are provided by third parties and we are not responsible for advertised products or services.

Disclaimer of warranties

The site is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. Chess outcomes, timers, and matchmaking may contain errors.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unimule VOF is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle data. Using the site also means you accept that policy.

Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
